Dr. Hendricks,

Happy 2nd anniversary to me!

Thank you for all you did for me and the successful nine and a half hour “nephrectomy marathon”. You are a brilliant surgeon and thank god for all you do for our Napa Community.

Sincerely,
Charlene

Dr. Khaira,

I can never thank you enough for seeing my son the same day. You can’t imagine the relief that I felt when you said he was fine. I felt like kissing your feet, but of course you would have thought that I was crazy. It was like you took 500 lbs. off my shoulders!

Thank you. God bless you, your family and your staff.

Sincerely,
Lupe

Dear Dr. Khaira,

Just want to send you a little note to thank you for all you have done for my mother. Your care and compassion is sincerely appreciated. You always took the time to listen and help with any problem. My mother was always very confident in your judgment.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Judy

Dear Dr. Khaira,

I would like to express my appreciation for your skill and you respect for patient wishes. On August 1st, I had to have a laparoscopic kidney cryoablation for a kidney mass. This in itself requires tremendous skill, however, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, it is my deeply held religious conviction to abstain from blood transfusions and blood products. While it was always an option to take the whole kidney if profuse bleeding should occur, it would take far greater skill to perform the operation in such a way as not to incur a large loss of blood. I was very grateful to awake knowing that I had not received blood and then very appreciative to learn later that the kidney had been meticulously treated with very little blood loss.

Thank you for your heartfelt respect of my religious views. Your skill and respect for patient wishes are the gold standard of treating the whole patient. My mind was at ease knowing this most sacred trust had been highly honored.

Thank you,
Carol

Dear Dr. Khaira,

Thank you so much for putting life back into me! For over a year I was always sick, and now because of you all I can heal and enjoy things again! Dr. Khaira, you are the kindest doctor I have ever met and your “bedside manner” is so wonderful!

God Bless you all!

Teresa

Dear Dr. Herkanwal Khaira and Staff,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note and thank you for all you help and follow up regarding the trace blood found in my UA and my medical clearance for same.

To be honest, I had a certain image in my head of a urologist office, which included a waiting room full of cranky, grouchy men and an ancient crabby Doctor and staff as well as stacks of AARP and Newsweek magazines circa 1986.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Your staff was friendly and accommodating, there was a wide array of current magazines for most tastes and interest. And then there was the hilarious nurse who told me first thing after my urine sample, “that is some good looking pee, and believe me I know!” She made me laugh and relax as I was more than a little concerned about having a camera put in what I consider an extremely delicate, tiny place. She was wonderful!

Then there was you, looking more like a young surfer from Southern California visiting the Napa Valley on a whim. You were friendly, explained everything and even went over my ultrasound results with me, making me feel like I was part of my care, which goes a long way with me! Additionally, you made sure I had follow-up appointments right away so I could get the clearance I needed. To top it off, I am the only in my family who can describe there bladder from the inside out after seeing it on a flat screen TV!

So I have to re-think my sweeping generalization of urologist offices, well at least when it comes to Napa Valley Urology Associates. O.K. maybe I was kind of right about some of the clientele in the waiting room, but I was wrong about the rest of it!

Again, I just want to say Thank You to you and your staff for the competent, expedient and thorough care.

Warmly,
Major J.A.B.
